The Peter Jay Sharp Special Collections Room houses the library?s distinguished collections of manuscript scores and rare printed editions. A fully-equipped media center includes 32 listening stations with compact disc players, turntables, and tape decks. Two seminar rooms include video viewing facilities and multimedia computers. Students performing in one of Juilliard?s large music ensembles use the complete collection of the standard repertoire in full scores and performing parts located in the School?s orchestral library.

Museums or other Special Academic Buildings on Campus: 106 practice rooms, scenery and costume shops, 15 two-story studios, 200-plus pianos, 35 private teaching studios, Juilliard Theater (cap. 1000 ppl), Drama Theater (200 ppl), Paul Recital Hall (278 ppl), Morse Hall (a smaller space with complete flexibility in seating configuration, is also used for recitals, master classes, meetings, and other events), a recording department, and Alice Tully Hall (The most widely-known auditorium at Juilliard, acclaimed for its extraordinary acoustics and its 4,192-pipe organ, built by the Swiss firm of Theodor Kuhn. Alice Tully Hall is the site of concerts by students and professionals, soloists and ensembles. It is home to the Juilliard Orchestra, the Juilliard Symphony, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.)
